Growing up, I spent my Summers in Colorado and my Winters in Michigan so I guess I’ve been doing things backward my whole life.

I first came to Colorado in the early 1970’s and although it was just for Summer vacation, I knew someday I would live here for good. There was a whole new world of music to discover and to this day, when I hear Paul Simon, Steely Dan or even Willie Nelson, I think of Colorado. I remember those warm Summer nights in the foothills south of Denver. I still have never seen a sky with more stars than the one over Perry Park in Douglas County.

I've been at KBCO since the Spring of 2008 so there is a lot to experience for me. Right now, fly-fishing and camping in the mountains are priorities. As a father of four young children, my life is fairly hectic but so rewarding and I'm thankful for every day. So far, I can’t imagine a better place to be than Colorado and I hope I can stay a very long time.
