Yesterday I was introduced for the first time to the music of a very talented 18 year old from Minnesota named Zach Sobiech.  Yesterday Zach died of bone cancer.  A KBCO listener named Jenni shared Zach's very inspirational story with me and I wanted to return the favor and share it with you as well.  In the aftermath of yesterday's Oklahoma tragedy and Zach's own passing, perhaps we can find some comfort in the "Clouds."

RUBY TUESDAY has always been one of my favorite songs by The Rolling Stones.  "Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind" gets me everytime. 

The pianos are back in downtown Denver!  Go ahead, tickle the ivories as part of Your Keys to the City.  The pianos will be around until September and everyone is welcome to play. 

The Australian band Cat Empire has released s new song that captivated me on the very first listen and I have been groovin' to it ever since. Hopefully Cat Empire will include Denver on their next tour because I can't wait to see them play live.  Here's "Brighter Than Gold." 

Prince is ditching the big arenas on this tour for more intimate venues and that includes the Ogden Theatre next Monday night.  Tune in to My Three Songs all this week at 3:00 for yiour chance to score a pair of tickets.  Prince will be backed by his all female band 3rd Eye Girl.  I've been practicing the tamborine lately just in case he wants to add another member.
