Portrait by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders
Madeleine Albright, the first female Secretary of State, was known for using her big and dramatic pins to non-verbally and diplomatically express her political thoughts.

We sat down with Secretary Albright when she was in Denver (her home town, by the way) for the opening of "Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection" at the Denver Art Museum. You can hear our conversation here. Her collection of pins remains on view at The Denver Art Museum (100 W. 14th Avenue Parkway, www.denverartmuseum.org) through June 17th.
