All proceeds after race expenses will go to Denver Urban Gardens (D.U.G.) to help get school gardens up and running.

The day will be a celebration of community and to do something active for a good cause with a half marathon, 5K and kids' 1K. Following the races, City of Cuernavaca Park will be bustling with music, a Post Race Brunch, and kids’ activities centering around gardening, art, and eating well.

The 13.1 mile course will run along the South Platte River Trail [course map here]. Water and aid stations will be present at miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. Bathrooms will be found at the start, finish, and miles 4 and 8 on the course.

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. at City of Cuernavaca Park. The out-and-back course will run along the Platte River, and loop back to end at the same place

The Kids 1K will begin at 9:45 a.m. at City of Cuernavaca Park, and will remain within the park boundaries. Parents, bring kiddos ages 4 through 12 for this fun run – all participants will earn a post-run ribbon in addition to the T-shirt received at registration!
