Littleton, CO The Vuelta a Salida 100 Mile fondo style event slated for August 17th, 2013 starting and ending in downtown Salida CO will now be known as the Prestige Imports Vuelta a Salida. After stepping in last year as a supporting sponsor, the organization has increased their commitment to title status. Spectrum Marketing’s Rob Quinn comments: "Prestige Imports has been one of the most visible sponsors of cycling in the Front Range, when General Manager Justin Adis said they would like a greater level of involvement next year, we were able to work out the naming rights."

The Prestige Imports Vuelta A Salida will include Cotton Wood pass in the 100 mile route. Quinn comments "Cottonwood is considered one of the best climbs in the state and we’d be remiss not to share it with the riders.  It will make for a tougher century that’s for sure."

If that sounds like too much the 50 (actually 58) will be stretched to 60 and proved itself a worthy course, especially with the final climb into town.

The 2013 event will also feature a 25 mile course known locally as "The Triangle" and a "Fast Fun and Free" kid’s race.

The Prestige Imports Vuelta a Salida is a "fondo" styled event which means that all riders receive a finisher’s time and the top 3 males and females are recognized with a trophy. Rules of the road apply but uniformed law enforcement can wave riders through intersections at their discretion.
