Congratulations to Darrel Archuletta, who was chosen this morning to to take part in a week-long scuba diving adventure off the coast of Cozumel, Mexico, and also to meet Missy Franklin, Athlete Ambassador for Kurt Miller's new adaptive sports film The Current, at A-1 Scuba in Boulder!

Darell's adventure includes airfares from Frontier Airlines, 7 nights accommodations for two at Hotel Cozumel & Resorts, and PADI scuba diving lessons with A-1 Scuba!

Darrell was nominated by Rick Ritter with this nomination:

"Darrel was injured while working as a brick mason this last summer when a 40 pound rock was pushed off of a scaffold 35 feet above him and hit him on the head. He suffered a spinal cord injury that has left him wheelchair bound and basically paralyzed. He will be released from Craig Hospital tomorrow and faces a long road of adaptive living. If Darrel is selected for this adventure, he would benefit both physically and mentally and give him a head start to beginning the rest of his life."
