If you want to know if something is true...if you're in the middle of a political "he said/she said" argument...if you're just bored and want an interesting read....these are the sites for you!

Politifact and Factcheck are specifically political information sites that can help you decide who's telling the truth in the lead-up to the election in November, whereas snopes is a much broader ranging site that investigates the truth behind all sorts of urban legends as well as debunking many of those circular emails you see like the stories about the '8-foot' alligator gar supposedly caught in Oklahoma or the guy who set his RV to cruise control and left the wheel to take a nap You can also find photoshopped images, musical rumors and all sorts of other info there.

Don't take our word for it though, check them out!
